Today Is Us
is an extraordinary peace advocacy initiative by the Cross-Love Movement, aimed at uniting Ghanaians through the transformative power of music and community engagement. As Ghana prepares for its upcoming elections, the project calls on all citizens to embrace their shared responsibility in maintaining peace and promoting unity across ethnic, cultural, and religious divides. This initiative is grounded in the belief that peace is a legacy we inherit and must preserve for future generations.
The project reached a significant milestone on 18th October 2024 when the National Peace Council of Ghana officially endorsed it. This endorsement highlights the campaign’s importance during this pivotal period in the country’s history. By partnering with the National Peace Council, Today Is Us
has gained credibility and recognition, encouraging individuals and organizations nationwide to join in advocating for peace and unity.
Earlier, on 13th September 2024, we launched the official theme song for Today Is Us
in collaboration with Académie De Musique Classique and a vibrant community of advocates. This unique musical piece features contributions in native languages from artists across Ghana, showcasing the country’s rich cultural diversity, celebrating Ghana’s unity in diversity, and delivering an inspiring message of peace that resonates across our ethnic landscape.

At Cross-Love Movement, Cross Sessions is more than an annual event it celebrates faith, music, and transformative outreach. Beginning in 2017, this Easter-season concert was initially a night to honor the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Over the years, it has also become a platform for showcasing talents, youth empowerment, uniting communities, addressing social challenges, and inspiring change through creativity.
Cross Sessions has become our primary fundraising event, enabling us to support impactful projects and initiatives. Through the generosity of patriots, we’ve made meaningful contributions to society, such as helping a local church in Bakanga-Bawku with chairs to revamp their community worship center. This effort underscores our belief that the church is more than a place of worship it is a vital institution for transforming lives through compassion, education, and moral values that shape society.
The third edition of Cross Sessions, held in 2021, was themed Hope
. This special concert was dedicated to reigniting hope in our community after the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was not just a performance; it was a symbol of resilience, a reminder that even in the face of global challenges, faith and creatviity can bring healing and renewal.
On 31st March 2024, during Cross Sessions VI, we launched our maiden album, Salvation Anthem. This groundbreaking album weaves salvation-centered lyrics with diverse musical genres, ensuring its message resonates with souls from all walks of life. It is a call to embrace God’s love and respond to His invitation to salvation.
The album’s launch was the pinnacle of the evening, blending powerful performances with the unifying theme of salvation from our strong team of creative collaborators. It highlighted how music can touch hearts, renew faith, and inspire individuals to live in harmony with God and one another.
